YouTube Video Editor / Long Form Content

We are a medium sized YouTube Channel looking for more editors to add to our team!

The Role

We are currently looking for a skilled video editor who is comfortable with editing up to 1 hour of footage in chapter sequences. We will provide you with our basic transitions in a package, font style, etc. and, you will have the ability to add your own creative flair to the videos as well.

Your Responsibilities:

- Create storytelling editing style to each video (hooks, retention, pacing)

- Produce and edit Long Form YouTube videos/chapters per week with a team of editors (30+ minutes)

- Participate in weekly/biweekly meetings with the rest of the team to discuss creative inspiration, ideas, etc.

- Continuously optimize content based on performance and audience engagement

- Use some of the long-form video content into 2-5 short-form videos (Shorts, Reels, TikTok) (Optional)
