Job description

We are seeking a product designer to help us develop a draft design for a unique board game gimmick. The goal is to translate our concept into a clear, functional mechanical design that could later be prototyped and manufactured.

You will work from our idea and create a practical mechanism concept, focusing on how it works, how it’s assembled, and how players interact with it so that the factory can understand it .

Responsibilities:

Review and understand our game gimmick concept (we will provide details)

Propose a mechanical solution that brings the idea to life

Create draft sketches, diagrams, or simple CAD concepts (not final engineering required)

Explain how the mechanism functions step-by-step

Suggest suitable materials and basic manufacturing approach (e.g., plastic, cardboard, springs, magnets, etc.)

Identify potential issues and suggest improvements

Deliverables:

3D file of product design

Written explanation of how it works

Basic material and construction suggestions

Notes on feasibility and potential challenges

Requirements:

Experience in mechanical design, product design, or industrial design

Ability to simplify ideas into practical, buildable mechanisms

Familiarity with common mechanisms (levers, gears, sliders, springs, etc.)

Ability to communicate ideas clearly through visuals and text|
