IT Program Manager
Job description
• Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in Ohio)
• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
• Employment Type: Contract
• Interview Mode: Microsoft Teams
• Compliance: Selected candidates must complete all compliance items within 5 business days of offer acceptance. Use of government equipment outside of the United States is strictly prohibited.
Core Responsibilities
• Lifecycle Management: Manage all phases of IT projects, from requirement definition and activity planning to final deliverable evaluation.
• Risk & Quality Control: Determine and evaluate risks affecting project timelines; establish quality standards and ensure project readiness for subsequent phases.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Meet regularly with stakeholders to determine needs, obtain feedback on applications, and manage expectations throughout the project duration.
• Team Leadership: Direct professional and technical staff, lead project meetings, and approve critical changes within assigned IT projects.
• Testing & Reporting: Oversee project testing phases, address issues found during UAT, and provide regular performance data and progress reports to leadership.
Required Experience & Skills
• IT Project Management: 6+ years of dedicated experience managing complex IT initiatives.
• Agile Methodology: 6+ years of experience leading projects within an Agile framework.
• DevOps Tools: 6+ years of hands-on experience using Azure DevOps and GIT for project tracking and version control.
• Technical Proficiency: 6+ years of experience with SQL and the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Soft Skills: Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
