Job Summary

Your role involves actively participating in the execution of Enterprise Fulfillment and jcp programs to support the company's sales objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Sales: Greets and assists customers in finding products, delivering outstanding customer service; demonstrates customer service behaviors consistently; actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems; actively promotes company products and services; partners with team members effectively.
  • The Enterprise Fulfillment role encompasses monitoring the application for fulfillment systems, selecting merchandise orders, and verifying their completion within the system. It includes accurately packaging orders according to packaging standards and timelines, as well as promptly handling Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store responsibilities.
  • Engaged in the organization and upkeep of jcp's inventory space, personnel contribute to the overall maintenance and structure of the stock area.
  • Works alongside merchandise associates/assistants to refill store shelves or independently restocks items from available inventory; involved in the annual inventory count.

Performance Standards: Demonstrates continuous adherence to set benchmarks in performance, encompassing areas like shrinkage prevention, safety measures, seamless customer experiences, profitability, output, and regularity in attendance.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments

  • Candidates must possess at least 1-2 years of work experience
  • Preference is given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree or similar work background, while a high school diploma or its equivalent is a basic requirement
  • Successful outcomes are reached by resolving issues and selecting astute strategies that enhance sales, revenue, and client support. Operational tasks are accomplished with efficacy and timeliness, while individuals adhere to elevated expectations to attain desired results. They exhibit a nimble response to fluctuating scenarios with vigor and an optimistic demeanor
  • Ownership: Offering exceptional customer care; collaborating and establishing affirmative, comprehensive, and considerate connections; taking responsibility for individual actions and consequences
  • Takes initiative in enhancing the quality of customer interactions; displays self-assurance and boldness in adhering to ethical principles; acts swiftly and vigorously in carrying out responsibilities

All associates are eligible for an associate discount on JCPenney merchandise. For paid holidays, associates who are eligible for paid vacation (MTO) are also eligible for eight paid holidays during the calendar year. All store hourly associates scheduled to work on a designated holiday will receive additional compensation.
