Data Scientist -TS/SCI & Poly

Position Overview

Join SIXGEN as a Data Scientist and contribute to delivering agile, mission-ready cybersecurity solutions for government and critical infrastructure organizations. In this full-time role based in Annapolis Junction or Fort Meade, MD, you will support missions by analyzing large-scale, mission-critical datasets and developing scalable data solutions. Clearance requirements include TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly and up to 10% travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support missions by applying advanced data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis to large-scale, mission-critical datasets.
• Design, develop, and maintain modular software solutions that integrate with distributed data processing frameworks in Linux-based environments.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on data-driven tools and models to meet evolving operational and mission requirements.
• Utilize high-level (Python) and mid-level (C) programming languages to build scalable data solutions, perform data mining, modeling, and extract actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance.
• Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Python and experience with a mid-level language such as C.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, data mining, statistical analysis, and data modeling; experience developing and maintaining modular software for large-scale data frameworks; familiarity with Linux-based environments and shell scripting; demonstrated ability to support missions through advanced data analysis and rapid prototyping.

• Compensation: $120,000 - $200,000 USD (base salary; final offer may vary based on experience, education, and skills)
