We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Data Analyst who is passionate about Performance Improvement and Analytics within the healthcare sector. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to impact patient safety, care quality, and operational efficiency positively.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret healthcare data to guide strategic decision-making, enhance patient outcomes, and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with teams to promote a culture of safety across our organization.
  • Utilize statistical modeling and data visualization tools to present data-driven insights effectively.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, data science, statistics, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare data analysis, ideally in a Quality and Safety department or clinical setting.
  • Preferred certifications: CHDA, CPHQ, or CPPS, or other healthcare data analyst certifications.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS guidelines), quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma), and healthcare systems.
  • Experience with Meditech EMR, incident reporting systems, patient safety indicators, and relevant quality improvement metrics is a plus.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data visualization tools, such as Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; adept at working with large datasets and deriving meaningful conclusions from complex data.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology, industry standards, and compliance matters including HIPAA.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effectively presenting findings to diverse audiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail while managing sensitive and confidential information securely.
