The Role The Internal Talent Mobility Advisor sits within Global Talent Acquisition and plays a key role in enabling seamless internal hiring, movement, and relocation experiences across AMD. Acting as both a program owner and trusted consultant, this role partners closely with Hiring Managers, HR, TA Operations, and Global Mobility to ensure employee transitions are executed efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong focus on candidate and manager experience. You will own mobility-related offer processes, proactively identify risks, and drive improvements across workflows—building scalable, compliant solutions that support internal talent movement and organizational agility. Key Responsibilities Offer & Process Execution Own end-to-end offer letter creation, routing, and release for internal mobility requisitions Ensure all offers align with policy, compensation frameworks, and regulatory requirements Maintain high standards for documentation, approvals, and audit readiness Risk Identification & Compliance Review mobility transactions for risks related to policy, compensation, and cross-border moves Proactively address or escalate risks impacting compliance, timelines, or candidate experience Ensure all processes adhere to internal policies and applicable employment regulations Stakeholder Consultation Partner with Hiring Managers, HR, TA Ops, and Global Mobility to guide internal hiring decisions Provide clear, compliant advice on eligibility, mobility frameworks, and process requirements Act as the primary point of contact for mobility recruiting operations queries Program & Process Improvement Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current mobility workflows and recommend scalable solutions Maintain and enhance SOPs/playbooks with embedded compliance controls Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational integrity Project & Systems Enablement Contribute to mobility-related projects, ensuring risk and compliance considerations are embedded Support system and tool enhancements that improve tracking, visibility, and reporting Provide input into product or process design for mobility-related workflows PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience within Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, HR Operations, or similar environments Experience managing or improving cross-functional processes with a focus on compliance and efficiency Exposure to internal hiring, employee movement, or workforce planning processes Strong stakeholder management experience across HR, TA, and business teams Experience working in global, regulated, or policy-driven environments ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Certifications or training in HR, Talent Acquisition, or Project Management are a plus #LI-SF1 #LI-Hybrid Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
