Job description

Job Description:

Join our team and help shape meaningful outdoor environments—from vibrant parks to dynamic commercial and campus spaces. We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented designer who’s eager to grow their skills while contributing to a wide variety of impactful projects.

What You’ll Do

As part of our collaborative design team, you’ll support projects from early concepts through construction documentation. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience while working alongside experienced landscape architects.

  • Produce plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings with accuracy and efficiency
  • Implement redline markups and contribute to high-quality construction documents
  • Translate survey and civil data into clean, organized base plans using CAD standards
  • Create 3D models and compelling visualizations using SketchUp, SU Podium, and Photoshop
  • Assist with site plans, planting designs, grading concepts, and construction details
  • Support concept development through graphics, diagrams, and schematic layouts
  • Prepare planting schedules and organize project materials for documentation
  • Conduct site research, zoning/code reviews, and preliminary analysis
  • Collaborate closely with team members to meet project goals and deadlines
  • Manage time effectively to stay on track with budgets and schedules
  • Maintain well-organized project files and follow established workflows

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in landscape design or landscape architecture
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong graphic, visualization, and hand-drawing skills
  • Working knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED principles
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and adapt to evolving project needs
  • Dependable, organized, and committed to delivering quality work

Work Environment

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
  • Hybrid Flexibility
  • Occasional overtime based on project needs
