Position Summary: Provides strategic leadership and coordination for parking planning, policy, and performance across the Orlando Health system, with a primary focus on the Downtown Orlando Campus. Supports the development and execution of parking strategies related to capacity management, technology, capital planning, and patient access. Partners closely with Corporate Security, Facilities Management, Hospital Operations, Brand Management, and other stakeholders to align parking operations with organizational growth, safety, and patient experience objectives. Responsibilities Essential Functions: • Operational Coordination: Coordinates with Corporate Security to align parking planning and strategy with daily operations activities including, but not limited to, capacity reporting, assignments, enforcement coordination, incident response, transportation services, valet, special event support, and service recovery for escalated issues. • Patient Experience: Coordinates with Corporate Security to set campus-wide standards for patient/visitor experience and coordinates with hospital administration to review and address patient experience feedback related to parking. • Technology Systems and Roadmap: Researches and stays up to date on parking technologies including, but not limited to, parking access and occupancy systems, sensors, and occupancy dashboards, and makes recommendations on technologies to adopt and/or standardize. Coordinates equipment calibration, maintenance, and uptime with Facilities Management and Corporate Security. • Parking Database: Maintains a database of parking counts, plans, and other key data for system-wide parking garages. Coordinates with Corporate Security to maintain a parking garage occupancy database on the Downtown Orlando Campus to monitor demand and inform parking assignments and expansion strategy. • Strategic Planning and Demand Management: Leads campus parking assessments to inform strategy, demand forecasting, and scenario modeling to support campus growth and clinical access. • Maintenance and Capital Planning: Coordinates preventive maintenance, repairs, condition assessments, and capital planning with Facilities Management; manages outage communications and traffic reroutes. • Governance, Policy and Standards: Coordinates with Corporate Security on system parking governance; standardizes policies, enforcement, and service levels across campuses. • Cross-Campus Support: Coordinates with Corporate Security to provide parking strategies and best practices for campuses systemwide. • Parking Design Standards: Develops and maintains standards for construction of new garages and parking lots. • Wayfinding and Signage: Provides input on signage standards related to parking and evaluates existing campuses for necessary signage updates to improve patient arrival and wayfinding experience. • Campus Parking Maps: Coordinates with Brand Management to update and create campus maps to assist with patient wayfinding and location of best parking. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Qualifications Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree required. An associate degree and two (2) additional years of experience (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section) may substitute for the bachelor’s degree. Licensure/Certification: Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP), Parking, Transportation & Mobility Professional (PTMP), Certified Parking Professional (CPP), or similar certification preferred. Experience: • Five (5) years of progressive experience in parking operations, transportation/mobility planning/engineering, or a related field. • Experience supporting complex or multi-site environments through strategic planning, performance analysis, policy development, or cross-functional coordination. • Demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Security, Facilities Management, Hospital Operations, Brand/Wayfinding) to align operational strategy and service delivery. • Experience supporting parking or access strategy, capacity/demand analysis, technology systems, capital planning, or construction coordination preferred.
