Your Role as a Podiatrist

You’ll deliver person-centred services across WMQ’s Health and Wellbeing settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualised treatment plans. 

• Delivering high-quality podiatric care and advice to clients and carers. 

• Reviewing and updating treatment plans to ensure clinical effectiveness. 

• Providing education on foot health, wound care, footwear, and pain management. 

• Identifying opportunities for further allied health support. 

• Completing assessments, reviews, and reporting for relevant funding bodies. 

• Collaborating closely with your multidisciplinary team.

• Maintaining your AHPRA registration and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

• A tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration. 

• Experience working with diverse client groups, including aged care and people with disability. 

• Strong clinical documentation and digital record-keeping skills.

• Excellent communication – with clients, carers, and colleagues. 

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team environment. 

• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and respond to evolving client needs. 

• Understanding of referral pathways and allied health supports. 

Essential Requirements

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy).

• Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.

• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work.
