Our in-house Design team is the creative conduit in the business - our Designers (working collaboratively & alongside our buying and sourcing departments) proactively research trend, design graphics and add to the creation and curation of our ranges in an exciting and cohesive way. Your work will end up on our shelves in front of our customers so a true customer mindset and ability to design fitting business and commercial needs is a must!
A snapshot of the role will see you:
- Research and apply market & trend information through design analytics.
- Trend forecasting key items, colours, fabrics, details and products for seasonal launches, new collections across apparel
- Work collaboratively with buying and sourcing teams to curate and build cohesive ranges
You will be someone who enjoys a dynamic and varied role with a great eye, attention to detail to work to guidelines, and passion for trends and graphic design! Retail is dynamic & fast-paced - Cross-functional collaboration and time management is paramount! We’re keen to hear from designers at all levels – your mindset, customer centric approach and adaptability will be key!
- Designer/fashion/apparel experience - take product from concept through execution and partnering with overseas manufacturers
- Customer-centric approach with proven ability to research and apply market/trend knowledge
- Demonstrated creative ability including graphics
- Commercial sense working within a retail environment
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator & Photoshop
