Application/Cloud Architect

We currently have a vacancy for a Application/Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium . The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Tasks: Architecture and design of information systems; Agentic AI development (such as Amazon Kiro); Design and development of component architecture and building blocks; Data analysis, data modelling; Physical database design; Development and maintenance of database stored procedures; Database configuration and optimization; Database integration with applications; Execution of database test programs; Definition and integration of database components.

University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 14 years of relevant working experience in IT; Excellent experience with JAVA Programming Language (11/17/21), Hibernate framework and JPA and Spring Boot (REST APIs, Security); Experience with AGILE methodologies’ principles and practices; In depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture; In depth knowledge of software modelling and database modelling tool; Good knowledge of business process analysis; Good knowledge of application development environments/tools; Good knowledge of Angular (15 or higher); Good knowledge of HTML and CSS; Good knowledge of JEE framework and Enterprise Architecture; Good knowledge of Oracle DBMS (SQL, PL/SQL, Query Optimization, Indexing and Oracle text); Good knowledge of Gitlab and/or Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Bamboo) and Maven; Knowledge of interoperability technologies (e.g. REST/SOAP web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus); Knowledge of Justice and/or Consumers related public IT systems; Basic knowledge of Justice, Consumers, Migration or Home Affairs EU policies objectives; Professional experience in a legal organisation or department will be considered an asset; Familiarity with SonarQube, Kubernetes and CaaS will be considered an asset; Excellent command of the English language.
