Application/Cloud Architect

We currently have a vacancy for an Application Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Your tasks Analyse the integration of multiple information systems to ensure seamless interoperability and alignment with business requirements; Perform data analysis and data modelling to support system design and improve data consistency across platforms; Coordinate the implementation of technical architecture, ensuring alignment between development teams and architectural standards; Act as a technical interface between project managers and development teams, facilitating clear communication and requirement translation; Produce comprehensive software architecture documentation, including system designs, specifications, and technical guidelines; Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings, and user-facing sessions to support alignment and requirement clarification; Provide support across key project phases, including testing, technical analysis, documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting; Design cloud architecture blueprints and solution architectures aligned with scalability, performance, and security requirements; Review existing system architectures to support migration to cloud-based environments; Design and develop architecture components and reusable building blocks using cloud-native services and technologies.

University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 11 years of relevant working experience in IT; At least 3 years of experience in Java, SpringBoot and Hibernate; At least 3 years of experience in Typescript, Angular and NodeJs; Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns; Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud; Good knowledge of applications design; Good knowledge of modelling tools; Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture; Good knowledge of Relational DBMS; Good knowledge of business process analysis; Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture); Excellent command of the English language.
