Job description
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new business customers for our delivery app service within your assigned territory
- Monitor local competitors and industry trends to provide feedback and ensure our app remains competitive and relevant.
- Represent foodpanda as a brand ambassador in negotiating terms and conditions with prospective restaurant partners
- Assist in onboarding new clients, including setting up their accounts, explaining app functionalities, and addressing any initial concerns or questions.
- Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness
- Understand and meet the needs of our potential partners and build a trusting relationship
- Exceed sales targets & performance-based goals while working independently
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities to the Manager, Field Sales
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the technology, app services, or delivery industry.
- Preferably 1-3 years experience employees specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
- Ability to use English proficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- A positive, energetic attitude and willingness to engage with new clients.
- Computer use competency
- Knowledge of the local market and potential client base.
