Commercial Construction Project Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Construction Project Manager based in Ashburn, VA. The role involves overseeing and coordinating the planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to strict timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This individual will manage project schedules, enforce compliance with industry codes and secure facility standards (e.g., ICD 705), and closely collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives. The Project Manager will also prepare and manage budgets, resolve on-site challenges, and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Strong expertise (5+ years) in Commercial Construction Project Management, including planning, execution, and completion of projects.

Experience in Project Coordination, logistics and scheduling, and effectively managing stakeholders, teams, and resources.

Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight to manage project costs effectively.

In-depth knowledge of Construction Management, including industry standards, codes, and secure construction environments such as SCIFs and SAPFs a plus.

Proven abilities in general Project Management, including problem-solving, scheduling, and meeting deadlines.

Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Experience with ICD 705 standards or similar secure facility requirements is helpful.

Professional certifications in construction management or project management (e.g., PMP, CCM) are a plus.
