Logistics Manager

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Logistics Manager to join our team, reporting into the Project Director . This position will be site-based in Espoo, Finland , and will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating all site logistics and material movement to ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of works.

Manage the site compound and all designated storage areas to maximise efficiency and safety. Oversee the booking and coordination of material deliveries to and from the site. Coordinate closely with subcontractors to ensure clear understanding of delivery schedules, storage locations, and access routes from off-site facilities to the project site. Maintain strong organisational control of site deliveries to ensure materials arrive in a structured and orderly manner. Attend pre-start meetings with subcontractors to communicate site logistics procedures, storage limitations, and delivery booking requirements via the Datascope system . Manage and monitor traffic movement across the site, ensuring safe and efficient flow of vehicles and deliveries. Promote a “just-in-time” delivery approach with all subcontractors to reduce congestion and optimise site operations.

3rd level qualification in an engineering or construction-related discipline is desirable; however, a strong trades background with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role will also be considered. Ideally, 2+ years’ experience in a logistics or materials management role on large-scale construction projects. Winthrop Technologies Ltd is an equal opportunities employer
