Job description

With 15 branches and around 300 employees throughout New Zealand, we are one of the biggest names in lift truck supplies. The role Reporting to the Branch Manager – WaiBOP, you will join our knowledgeable and experienced team and be supported by great training and shared expertise across the business. As the Rentals & Logistics Manager for the Waikato-Bay of Plenty region, you’ll be responsible for working in collaboration with internal stakeholders to plan, coordinate and manage the daily deliveries of all our lift truck units across the central North Island. You’ll focus on providing leadership and direction to the Rental admin and driver team to ensure consistency of processes and processing, as well as ensuring that they provide support to the sales teams to strengthen customer retention and growth of market share. This role will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of monthly and annual individual revenue, gross profit and net contribution financial targets, in line with the annual business plan and budgets. You’ll also be responsible for rental asset management and control across the Waikato-Bay of Plenty region. This is a fulltime, permanent role which can be based in either Tauranga or Hamilton, with travel required across the region.

We’re looking for someone with experience in a large business, preferably in the automotive, industrial service or manufacturing sectors. You’ll be a collaborative and supportive team player and leader and have great customer service and communication skills when it comes to dealing with your internal and external stakeholders. Your good time management skills and IT savvy will help you enter this role.
