Job description

Arvinas is a clinical-stage biotechnology company dedicated to improving the lives of patients suffering from debilitating and life-threatening diseases through the discovery, development, and commercialization of therapies that degrade disease-causing proteins. Arvinas uses its proprietary PROTAC Discovery Engine platform to engineer proteolysis targeting chimeras, or PROTAC targeted protein degraders, that are designed to harness the body’s own natural protein disposal system to selectively and efficiently degrade and remove disease-causing proteins.

Arvinas is currently progressing multiple investigational drugs through clinical development programs, including ARV-102, targeting LRRK2 for neurodegenerative diseases; ARV-806, targeting KRAS G12D for mutated cancers, including pancreatic, colorectal, and non-small cell lung cancers; ARV-393, targeting BCL6 for relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin Lymphoma; ARV-027, targeting the polyglutamine-expanded androgen receptor, or polyQ-AR, in skeletal muscle; and vepdegestrant, targeting the estrogen receptor for patients with locally advanced or metastatic ER+/HER2- breast cancer.

On August 8th 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) accepted the New Drug Application (NDA) for vepdegestrant- an investigational, orally bioavailable PROTAC estrogen receptor degrader- for its use as a monotherapy in the treatment of adults with estrogen receptor–positive (ER+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2–negative (HER2-), ESR1-mutated advanced or metastatic breast cancer previously treated with endocrine-based therapy. In September 2025, Arvinas and Pfizer announced their plan to jointly select a third party for the out-licensing and commercialization of vepdegestrant.

In April 2024, Arvinas entered into a transaction with Novartis, including a global license agreement for the development and commercialization of the clinical stage PROTAC androgen receptor protein degrader ARV-766 for the treatment of prostate cancer. The transaction closed in May 2024.

Position Summary

Arvinas is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to perform Level 2 day-to-day escalation activities. This person will be responsible for Deskside Support, Software Distribution, Asset and Desktop management, Executive Support, Event Support, and Audio Visual Support for Arvinas.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, IT Service Delivery Lead, and will be located at our headquarters in New Haven, CT.

Principal Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee 100% of the requests, incidents, and problems. Manage and coordinate urgent and complicated support issues.
  • Demonstrated ability and passion for the delivery of high-quality end-user support experiences.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of desktop support best practices in a research pharmaceutical setting.
  • Ability to prioritize and act in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal and technical skills in communication, both written and verbal at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT Service Desk systems and tools, ideally BMC Footprints Service Management.
  • Executive and Audio-Visual support functions required with a track record of rapid issue resolution, and support experience for hybrid meetings and events.
  • ITIL Knowledge, preferably certification.
  • Ensure that all processes used by the service desk are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Very strong business analysis skills
  • Very strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent task management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the following is highly desired: Entire Microsoft Office365 Stack including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office Licensing.
  • Familiarity with ITIL 4 Framework
  • Precise knowledge of Asset Management including physical assets and software licenses
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in a combination of company office and lab environment. Employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to lift/carry 15/30 pounds unassisted/assisted; work comfortable in a controlled environment with and around biological, infectious and hazardous materials; gown/degown PPE; use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving, analysis and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.
  • Arvinas will not be providing VISA sponsorship for this position. You must have the ability to work without a need for a current or future VISA sponsorship

Education

  • A degree or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Information Management Systems or other related IT discipline desired OR
  • Proven 3-5 years experience in a support services role and must possess analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience

  • 4 + years’ experience in IT, with the desired candidate having experience in life sciences
  • Experience providing IT application support and maintenance
