Position Summary The Senior Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will be responsible for leading complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, providing expert diagnosis and treatment, and serving as a clinical mentor to junior staff. This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and uphold the highest clinical standards. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop detailed surgical treatment plans. Execute advanced surgical procedures, including dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and complex reconstructive interventions. Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care to ensure successful recovery. Provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision to junior surgeons and dental professionals. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient-centered care. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in oral and dental surgery and incorporate best practices into clinical protocols.

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with specialist certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Considerable clinical experience in complex oral and dental surgical procedures within private healthcare settings. Active and valid license to practice as an Oral and Dental Surgeon. Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience mentoring and supervising clinical teams. Exceptional clinical judgement and decision-making capabilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions. Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining high standards of practice.
