Systems Business Analyst II

Resposibilities

• Develop clear, concise methodology documents, which require proficiency in workflow analysis, dataflow diagramming, screen design, etc.

• Facilitate the definition of functional requirements by working with programmers and users in prototyping and design sessions

• Translate and present project concepts into effective visual images which clarify design elements and issues for both business and technical audiences

• Identify, mediate, resolve and eliminate miscommunications between business and technical project team members

• Stay current with business needs and strategies and manage relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results

• Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders

• Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; determining daily priorities; following proper escalation paths

• Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process

• Participate in development of test strategy, test plans and test cases alongside QA

• Utilize Jira to organize, track, and update progress on projects throughout their entire life cycle

Requirements & Qualifications

• 4+ years related work experience. Financial services industry knowledge and experience preferred

• BA/BS degree and/or related work experience

• Strong interpersonal skills are beneficial as strong partnership and constant coordination with development team to agree on timelines and scope of work is required

• Creative and effective problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong time management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills

• Experience with Jira, Confluence is beneficial 

• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Projects is beneficial

• SQL programming skills with ability to write simple Oracle queries is beneficial
