THE OPPORTUNITY - SYDNEY OR MELBOURNE BASED

Netwealth’s platform is the backbone of how advisers and clients experience our business. Through Super Accelerator and Wealth Accelerator, we deliver scalable, compliant and product‑led solutions in one of the most highly regulated parts of financial services.

As Head of Platform Products, you’ll take end‑to‑end ownership of these flagship platforms, guiding their evolution from strategy through to delivery. This is a senior leadership role focused on execution, ensuring platform initiatives land well, governance is seamless, and innovation continues without compromising regulatory integrity. You’ll lead a high‑performing team and partner closely with Technology, Investments, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Operations and Distribution to deliver outcomes that matter.

Key responsibilities

At the core of this role is translating platform ambition into reality, balancing innovation, governance and delivery at scale.

• Lead the end‑to‑end platform product operating model for Super Accelerator and Wealth Accelerator, spanning strategy, governance, delivery oversight and in‑life product management.
• Drive disciplined execution of platform initiatives, ensuring delivery at pace while balancing regulatory, operational and customer outcomes.
• Own platform‑level governance and regulatory outcomes, translating APRA and ASIC obligations into practical, scalable platform solutions.
• Lead cross‑functional platform initiatives, co‑ordinating Product, Technology, Operations, Finance and Distribution to deliver compliant, sustainable change.
• Build and lead a high‑performing platform product team, embedding strong prioritisation, accountability and proactive decision‑making.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a strategic, outcomes-driven leader with the credibility to operate at senior levels and the discipline to build scalable governance in a regulated environment. You bring strong judgement, influence and the ability to balance compliance requirements with commercial outcomes.

• Extensive platform product leadership experience across Super and IDPS, with 10+ years in Australian financial services environments.
• Deep understanding of platform governance and APRA and ASIC regulation, with a proven ability to translate policy and regulatory obligations into executable product and operational outcomes.
• Proven delivery‑led product leadership, owning complex platform roadmaps and leading cross‑functional initiatives in regulated, fast‑moving environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic judgement, with the ability to prioritise effectively, influence senior stakeholders, and focus effort where it delivers the greatest business impact.
• Values‑led, people‑focused leader with a tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, law or related discipline, demonstrated leadership maturity, and GM‑level progression potential over time.
