Job description
A brief summary of the provided position as below Experienced design engineer with great communication skills to work cross-functionally to ensure critical interfaces in Cab. As a layout engineer, you will collaborate with both whole vehicle layout team and different engineering teams to support the product development.
- Organize cross-functional meetings and task forces to ensure mechanical interfaces within Cab development, both exterior and interior
- Create and manage the development of 2D and 3D CAD models and oversee the implementation of design validation and testing plans to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.
- Act as an interface between cab development and other workstreams, make sure critical interfaces are secured • Lead concept development activities for cross-functional investigations, balancing between cost, quality and requirements
- Support in visualization and presentation of the product in 2D and 3D format
- BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in design quality assurance
- Strong proficiency in engineering design, including software like Catia V5, KDP and Microsoft office.
- Experience in product development, familiar with development process in automotive industry
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Fluent in English • Experience in BEV commercial vehicle development is a plus.
