Role: Supply Chain Manager Location: Leeds, LS15 8GB We operate a hybrid schedule, 2 days a week in the office. We operate fair scheduling process as well as additional compensation for all on call periods. Reporting to the Head of Supply, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of Pharmacy2U’s supply chain team and operations, ensuring the reliable, compliant, and cost-effective supply of medicines and healthcare products to support prescription dispensing and retail fulfilment. This role leads the operational supply team responsible for stock ordering, stock management and supplier coordination. The Supply Chain Manager ensures product availability, maintains optimal inventory levels, and works closely with dispensing, warehouse, and commercial teams to support uninterrupted patient service. Financial security & rewards · Competitive contributory pension · Occupational sick pay · Long-service awards and refer-a-friend bonuses · Professional registration fees covered (GPhC, NMC, CIPD and more) · Cycle to Work and Green Car schemes (subject to eligibility) Family-friendly · Enhanced maternity and paternity pay · Flexible hybrid working to help balance work and home life Health & wellbeing · Private healthcare insurance at discounted rates (Aviva) · Employee Assistance Programme and in-house mental health support · Access to discounted gym memberships via Blue Light Card and benefits schemes · Regular health and wellbeing initiatives Career growth · Strong commitment to CPD, training and professional development Time off & flexibility · 25 days’ annual leave, increasing with service · Buy and sell holiday scheme Everyday perks & exclusive discounts · Blue Light Card and employee discount platform · Exclusive discounts at The Springs, Leeds · 25% off health & beauty purchases · 25% off Pharmacy2U Private Online Doctor services Culture & community · Regular social events throughout the year What you’ll be doing? · Lead the day‑to‑day supply chain operations, including ordering, forecasting, stock control and supplier coordination · Manage and develop a small supply chain team, with line management responsibility for team leaders overseeing ordering, planning and supplier activity · Set direction, priorities and performance expectations across the supply function, ensuring efficient and reliable day‑to‑day execution · Oversee the replenishment of prescription medicines, ensuring consistent product availability to support uninterrupted dispensing operations · Monitor daily stock availability and resolve supply issues to maintain service levels and operational continuity · Maintain inventory levels in line with agreed targets, balancing availability, working capital and expiry risk · Work closely with Commercial, Warehouse and Dispensing teams to support margin optimisation and stock holding objectives · Build and maintain effective working relationships with wholesalers and suppliers, managing communications on orders, shortages and deliveries · Track and report on key supply chain KPIs including stock availability, owings, supplier performance and stock holding · Identify and drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes, systems and ways of working Who are we looking for? · Strong understanding of operational supply chain management, including stock control, replenishment and supplier coordination · Experience leading or managing a small operational team, with the ability to set priorities, support development and drive performance · Proven ability to analyse complex supply chain data and use insight to improve performance, availability and efficiency · Confident communicator, able to clearly summarise supply chain issues and recommendations for stakeholders at different levels · Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑accuracy environments, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines · Strong problem‑solving skills, with experience improving both manual and system‑driven processes · Experience working with pharmaceutical wholesalers, FMCG suppliers or within regulated supply chains (e.g. pharmacy, healthcare, grocery) · Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP, stock management or forecasting systems · Degree‑level education or equivalent practical experience What happens next?
