Job description

As a hotel cost controller, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling all cost-related aspects of the hotel’s operations. This includes overseeing food and beverage costs, managing inventory, evaluating supplier pricing, and implementing internal controls to ensure profitability and operational efficiency. What you’ll do Monitor daily food & beverage cost percentages and investigate variances Conduct regular inventory audits (F&B, materials, operating supplies) Analyze purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts Ensure proper cost allocation and adherence to budget Work closely with chefs and department heads to optimize menu costing and pricing Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Prepare monthly cost reports and present insights to management Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial procedures Support budgeting and forecasting processes Implement and maintain cost control systems in line with industry standards (e.g., USALI)

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field 2–5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in hospitality Strong knowledge of F&B operations and inventory systems Familiarity with hotel financial standards (e.g., USALI) Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/POS systems Ability and willingness to travel to destinations where the company operates hotels.
