Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Analyze and redesign manufacturing processes, workflows, and facility layouts to increase throughput and reduce waste.
VSD/VSM, Kanban system, plant layout, standardized work, cycle time, quick changeover, ergonomics, TPM, FOL, LLD, etc.
- Time & Method Studies: Conduct time studies and method analysis to establish accurate labor standards and improve worker efficiency. Manage time data value in SAP using the Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP) tool.
- Capacity Planning: Calculate production capacity and optimize resource utilization, including machinery and personnel.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure all processes comply with safety standards (Ergonomics)and quality specifications.
- Data Analysis: Use statistical tools and software (e.g., Minitab, AutoCAD, Excel) to analyze production data and suggest improvements.
- Documentation: Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation
- B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- 8-10 years of Industrial experience ,
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles can be an added advantage
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, structured & strategic way of working with good business overview.
- Strong cross functional teaming
- Proficient in interpersonal, networking, communication, facilitation, negotiation and conflict
management skills. - Strong communication skills dealing with different stakeholders and teams.
