About the Role

The Data Entry Specialist II will be responsible for loading data into various Transportation Management Systems (TMS). They will provide guidance to customers and internal Uber Freight teams regarding data entered and templates used to import data. They will represent the team during onboarding and bidding projects. They will need to recognize potential risks and escalate them. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer skills.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Load rate data into the TMS and resolve any errors generated
  • Create rate schedules using Access Tools, review the created documents, and send to carriers for review and signature where necessary, adhering to legal standards
  • Research, fix, and/or advise on documented discrepancies
  • Recognize when business terms, processes or other factors present a risk and escalate through appropriate channels
  • Work with internal teams on import templates and general understanding of TMS as it pertains to the data being entered or provided; includes representing the department during onboarding and bidding projects
  • Interpreting rate agreements then will create rate import templates for loading
  • Demonstrates proficiency with rate loading, advising on more complicated rate loading scenarios and discrepancy research

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 1- 2 years of experience working in an Office environment
  • Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and Utilization of Transportation Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Business Administration or related field
  • 2-3 years of transportation, office or accounting experience
  • 1 year transportation account auditing experience
