Homologation Engineer - Passive Safety

The Department of Homologation of Passenger cars, Light Commercial Vehicles & Components is looking for an Homologation Engineer  to join the team at Idiada's Headquarters.

He/she will be specifically dedicated to the testing and certification of passenger cars vehicles according to regulations applicable for passive safety.

He/she will be responsible for the following tasks:

• To deal with the clients in order to understand their needs and to manage the certification projects.
• To perform and witness tests according to the specific regulations applicable for passive safety.
• To analyze the technical documentation and prepare the related test reports

Profile

• Knowledge in automotive technology is a must.
• Knowledge in passive safety is highly valued.
• Knowledge in automotive regulations/standards would be an asset.

Academic training

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive industry, or similar.

Languages

• High level of English and Spanish
• Knowledge in other languages would be an asset.
