Job description
Job purpose:
An eLearning Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging digital learning content using authoring tools and multimedia elements. The role involves collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs), and designers to create interactive eLearning courses that enhance user engagement and learning outcomes. Development of digital learning solutions of the highest quality and accuracy with company-wide relevance for all METRO countries to grow our people.
Key responsibilities:
- Create high quality and engaging digital learning solutions including eLearning, illustrated videos, dialog simulations, games and quizzes
- Maintain and further improve existing digital learning solutions
- Bring in didactical experience for designing, developing and maintaining eLearning modules and digital learning solutions
- Work closely with SMEs, and Graphic Designers to develop engaging learning solutions.
- Understand client requirements and provide creative solutions to enhance the learning experience.
- Propose innovative ideas keeping latest design trends in mind
- Developing Learning Content and Storyboards
- Well versed with Instructional Design principles
- All responsibilities have a strong international scope.
- Maintain proper project documentation, version control, and compliance with company standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of eLearning projects within defined deadlines.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related field.
- Strong English communication skills in both written and verbal
- 1-3 years practical experience in digital learning, content development/ maintenance using Authoring tool and LCMS like Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, etc.
- Strong knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, AICC standards and LMS integration.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript desired
- Knowledge of Adobe Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro etc.) and MS Office 365 (TEAMS, Outlook and SharePoint) will be added advantage
- Certificate in Instructional Design will be added advantage
- Portfolio with eLearning and Design Projects required.
