Economic Zones play an important role in DP World’s strategy to offer end to end logistics solutions to its customers. In that context, and as part of its One Port One Zone approach, DP World intends to further develop its global portfolio of economic zones. Today DP World operates 12 economic zone projects internationally (including Dubai) and the intention is to reach 20 operational economic zones within the next 5 years. There is already a pipeline 15 projects which are of which have reached different stages of evaluation. There is a need for us to accelerate the pace at which we evaluate and develop these projects and hence the need to additional manpower.
