ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operations Monitoring: Oversee semiconductor solid state drive (SSD) mechanical assembly manufacturing processes, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining optimal output levels and component precision standards.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify machine malfunctions in SSD assembly equipment, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electromechanical issues, and perform routine maintenance to minimize production disruptions and ensure assembly accuracy.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineers to improve SSD mechanical assembly workflow, reduce downtime, enhance product quality, and optimize assembly sequences through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Documentation & Reporting: Compile data, create evaluation reports, and document troubleshooting findings specific to SSD assembly processes to maintain accurate equipment and process records.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain 5S standards in SSD assembly areas, follow safety protocols for semiconductor manufacturing environments, and ensure quality standards are met across all mechanical assembly operations.
• Quality Assurance & Inspection: Conduct inspections and quality checks on SSD mechanical assemblies to ensure adherence to established specifications, dimensional tolerances, and industry standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with production teams, engineers, and supervisors to resolve SSD assembly-related issues and implement process improvements.
• Training & Mentoring: Provide guidance and technical support to junior technicians on SSD mechanical assembly procedures and assist in their professional development.

REQUIRED:

• Diploma and major in Material Science & Engineering, Electronics Engineer, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering fields

PREFERRED:

• Familiar with PCB Assembly manufacturing process
• Proficient in DOE, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys)
• Experience with automation, vision inspection systems, and process control software is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
• A background with CNC Machining & Manufacturing process is an advantage
