Goodman
Energy Property Manager
Salary
Job description
Always wanted to challenge the obvious and make great things happen? At Goodman we create space for your greatness.
We are seeking a motivated Energy Property Manager to join our Property Management team for Continental Europe.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, maintenance, and operational management of a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets, primarily solar PV, but increasingly including EV charging infrastructure (EVCI) and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
While solar PV currently represents the largest and most mature part of the portfolio, the role is evolving alongside our expansion into BESS and other energy solutions. We are therefore looking for someone with strong PV expertise, complemented by an interest in or knowledge of battery storage systems, to help strengthen and future-proof the team.
More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to:
Asset performance monitoring and optimisation
- Monitor the performance of renewable energy assets (today primarily solar PV, but expanding to EVCI and BESS) to ensure they meet or exceed expectations.
- Analyse operational data and performance metrics to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies to optimise performance, energy production, and revenues.
Operations, maintenance and incident management
- Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance and repair activities across the portfolio.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for operational incidents, ensuring proper follow-up, stakeholder alignment, and communication with insurers where required.
- Work closely with O&M providers to ensure timely and effective interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with grid operators, DNOs, and metering companies when necessary.
Financial performance support
- Provide operational and performance input to support budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Monitor the economic performance of assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with accounting teams, who are responsible for financial settlements and reporting.
Contract and regulatory follow-up
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, including PPAs, leases, and service agreements.
- Support the operational follow-up of PPAs, while commercial teams remain responsible for negotiations.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulatory and policy developments.
Reporting and documentation
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records for all assets.
- Ensure documentation is complete, up to date, and audit-ready.
Do you recognize yourself?
- You have experience in managing renewable energy assets.
- Experience with or interest in BESS and/or EVCI is a strong plus.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have solid technical knowledge of renewable energy systems and their operation.
- You understand the financial and performance drivers of energy assets.
- You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are familiar with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- You are proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
