Job description
Position Description:
Responsible for answering phones and maintaining a log of calls received. Dispatch housekeeping services according to guest and management requests. Resolve guest complaints and answer questions.
Job Functions
- Schedule staff based on occupancy levels, including scheduling for PTOs.
- Maintain accurate payroll records (time and attendance) in the Company’s timekeeping system.
- Prepare GRA room assignments.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of hotel services and hours of operation.
- Handle heavy incoming call volume.
- Log calls and delegate guest requests and work order requests to appropriate personnel.
- Accurately document and maintain the lost-and-found log.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
Job Specifications
- Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must have good typing skills.
- Must be computer literate and able to operate standard office equipment.
- Must be able to learn and/or effectively use the company’s computerized systems (such as e-mail, timekeeping, and HOTSOS).
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
