Resident Engineer - Site

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, progress updates, and site documentation
• Analyse and resolve complex engineering and construction issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required
• Implement and maintain effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in construction management

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• UAE experience is required. Minimum 5 years as Resident Engineer with 18+ total years of experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and industry best practices
• Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and site safety protocols
• Excellent project management skills, including resource allocation and scheduling
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software
• Outstanding technical report writing and documentation skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with potential travel to other project locations as required
