What We Offer --This is a PRN role-- Certified Sterile Processing Technician Huntersville Medical Center PRN, 4 days a week, 8:00a-12:00p or 9:00a-1:00p Monday-Friday, occasional weekend on call *Sterile Processing Tech Certification required *Sterile Processing Tech experience highly preferred What You'll Do Sterile Processing Technician Certified will be responsible for providing clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies to meet individual customer needs. What We're Looking For Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience : One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays.
