Java Backend developer

Role: Java Back-end Developer

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 2 years+

Candidate is needed to assist in the development of several outstanding reporting initiatives and development within applications, as well as application migrations and oracle upgrades

1. At least 4 years’ experience in Java and related technology.
2. Unix and Windows hardware architecture
3. Unix scripting skills
4. Windows scripting skills (command file, Visual Basic batch, Microsoft Office integration)
5. Testing methodology
6. Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps.
7. Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments.
8. Solid experience working with development teams on the deployment of large volume transaction based applications (Java).
9. Candidate should exhibit strong coding skills and have experience of recent application development.
10. Software code management and Oracle database, 11G, is also a must.
11. Must be able to work well within a team and have excellent oral and written communication skills since this position will be responsible for dealing with business customers in an ongoing basis.
12. The developer will be communicating with a variety of people, (business, IT technical teams, etc), so they must have very clear communication.
