Emergency Department RN

Overview

Provide rapid assessment and evidence-based interventions in a busy ED serving diverse patient populations. Collaborate across disciplines to deliver timely, safe care.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, continuous reassessment, and escalation per acuity

• Initiate orders, therapies, and education; coordinate disposition and follow-up

• Support patient/family communication and experience initiatives

• Participate in quality/safety projects and maintain competencies

Required

• Current RN license (FL or Compact; FL by start)

• 1 year recent acute-care ED RN experience

• BLS at start; CPI, ACLS, PALS within 90 days

Preferred

• BSN

• High-volume ED experience and precepting a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual base $57,658–$82,368 DOE
