Job description
A well-established acute care hospital in the Hudson area is seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join its night shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering a full range of respiratory services, including mechanical ventilation and emergency interventions, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Administer routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
Operate ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.
Develop and implement individualized Respiratory Care Plans.
Document patient care in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Completion of a vocational/technical or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred).
Current Florida CRT license.
BLS certification (AHA) – required.
ACLS, PALS, and NRP – must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move frequently throughout the shift.
Differentials
Nights: +$4.50/hour
Weekends: +$3.00/hour
