Certified Respiratory Therapist

Overview

A well-established acute care hospital in Hudson is seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist to join its night-shift team. The ideal candidate has a passion for quality patient care and experience providing a full range of respiratory services, including mechanical ventilation and emergency interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages

• Operate ventilators for continuous short- and long-term mechanical ventilation

• Develop and implement individualized Respiratory Care Plans

• Document patient care accurately in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Completion of a vocational/technical or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate required; Bachelor preferred)

• Florida CRT license (Certified Respiratory Therapist)

• Current BLS certification (AHA)

• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move frequently throughout shifts

Shift Differentials

• Night Shift: $4.50/hr

• Weekend: $3.00/hr
