Clinical Nurse Coordinator Emergency Room

Join the Emergency Room team at a Level III Trauma Center serving up to 166 patients daily. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to step into a leadership role, guiding a skilled team in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all unit functions during assigned shifts.

• Monitor, assess, and document changes in patient conditions.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop, evaluate, and adjust care plans.

• Delegate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care.

• Provide patient, family, and caregiver education throughout the care continuum.

• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Education

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing – Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – Preferred

Licensure

• Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact State

Certifications

• Current BLS – Required

• ACLS & PALS – Required within 1 year of hire

• CPI – Required within 6 months of hire

Experience

• Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse

• 2–3 years of Emergency Room nursing (required for day shift)

• Prior Charge Nurse experience (required for day shift)

• Trauma experience preferred
