Job description
What you will do:
Functional Support:
Deliver comprehensive functional support for wholesale banking systems, with a focus on treasury, trade finance, and cash management, ensuring seamless integration and optimal operation.
Incident Management:
Manage and resolve incidents related to application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
System Configuration:
Oversee the configuration and customization of applications to meet business requirements.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with application vendors, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and timely resolution of issues.
Business Analysis:
Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering to support application enhancements and new implementations.
Disaster Recovery:
Develop and implement IT disaster recovery plans for wholesale banking applications, ensuring data availability and system resilience.
Training:
Provide adequate training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the banking applications.
Reporting:
Develop and maintain management information reports and dashboards using relevant tools.
Preventive Measures:
Anticipate application problems and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability and performance.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Finacle ELMS, VAM modules application support and configuration management.
- Strong knowledge of applications like Finacle Core, ELMS, VAM.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Good Functional knowledge on banking concepts.
- Experience and understanding of typical software development lifecycles and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Finacle ELMS, VAM modules.
- Basic knowledge on AWS Cloud Infrastructure activities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and other relevant database management systems.
- Experience with middleware and integration technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
