Job description

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Management & Sales Development

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of clients (GDO, wholesalers)
  • Conduct regular customer visits to maintain strong relationships and identify business opportunities
  • Negotiate volumes, pricing, and promotional activities in line with company strategy
  • Ensure proper execution of commercial agreements

2. Market Monitoring & Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends and pricing dynamics within the fresh fruit category
  • Collect and report insights on consumer behavior
  • Provide feedback to internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to support decision-making

3. Sales Planning & Execution

  • Contribute to weekly and monthly sales planning
  • Track sales performance against targets and take corrective actions when needed
  • Support the implementation of promotions and in-store activities

4. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, including performance analysis and forecasts
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, agreements, and sales data
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and commercial policies

 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fruits and vegetables, preferably in structured companies
