JOB PURPOSE
To act as the key financial partner to Group Enterprise Banking (GEB), providing insights, analysis, and forward-looking financial planning to drive sustainable business performance. This role focuses on linking financial outcomes to business strategies, ensuring alignment between revenue generation, cost management, and profitability targets.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans for GEB.
Translate strategic objectives into measurable financial targets, ensuring alignment with Bank-wide performance goals.
Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
Prepare and analyze segment P&L performance for Retail SME, SME / Sales & Distribution, and Commercial Banking.
Conduct portfolio analysis across lending, deposits, CASA, and fee income to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Track key financial and risk metrics (loan growth, deposit mobilization, CASA ratio, NIM, CIR, RAROC, FTP impacts, cost of funds) against targets.
Develop and deliver timely management reports to business heads and GEB leadership.
Support business heads with financial insights and recommendations to optimize P&L performance at both segment and portfolio level.
Work closely with Relationship Management, Product, and Strategy teams to evaluate business initiatives, campaigns, and pricing strategies.
Provide financial input on new products, risk-based pricing, and customer-level profitability analysis.
Evaluate ROI of business programs or products (e.g., CASA push, merchant acquisition, supply chain financing).
Support the development of frameworks for deposit/loan growth, ESG/green financing, and new revenue streams.
Provide financial models for partnerships, collaborations, and MoUs (e.g., CGC guarantee programs, supply chain ecosystems).
Partner with GEB leadership on special projects, including performance reviews, transformation initiatives, and regulatory-driven programs (MFRS9, CCPT, Basel III).
Strengthen financial discipline across business units through monitoring of costs, FTP allocations, and balance sheet efficiency.
Undertakes all financials related work as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Experience in financial planning & analysis or business finance, preferably in banking.
Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
Good understanding of banking products and performance metrics (e.g., NIM, CIR, RAROC).
Proficient in Excel and financial systems; experience with BI tools is an advantage.
Able to link financial insights to business strategy and performance.
Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities and lead financial initiatives.
