Job description

Join a leading aviation team supporting business jet programs in Wichita, KS.

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician / Aircraft Electronics Technician to perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and testing of aircraft avionics and electrical systems on Global and Challenger business aircraft.

This role supports a high-performance business aviation environment, working on advanced aircraft electronics, navigation, communication, and integrated avionics systems.

  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, modification, and maintenance of aircraft avionics and electrical systems
  • Install, inspect, and service avionics equipment under limited supervision
  • Read and interpret electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Perform aircraft inspections and functional checks with appropriate oversight
  • Document all work performed in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Operate ground support equipment and industrial vehicles (forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Participate in 5S and workplace organization initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal English
  • Perform work safely and within required timeframe
  • Minimum 4 years of aviation experience, including at least 2 years in corporate or business aviation
  • Strong experience in aircraft avionics troubleshooting and repair
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • No FAA license required
  • Must own and maintain a basic tool kit (toolbox must be shadowed per quality standards)
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as required
  • Experience with advanced connectivity or satellite systems (e.g., Starlink) is a plus
  • Experience on business jets (Global or Challenger platforms preferred)
