Electrical Supervisor - Street Lighting (Roads O&M)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor specializing in Street Lighting for our Roads Operations and Maintenance team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and optimization of street lighting systems across the city's road network.

• Lead and manage a team of electricians and technicians responsible for street lighting installation and maintenance
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for street lighting systems
• Oversee the design and implementation of new street lighting projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards
• Conduct regular inspections of street lighting infrastructure to identify and address potential issues
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate street lighting activities with road maintenance and construction projects
• Analyze energy consumption data and recommend energy-efficient lighting solutions
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures in all street lighting operations
• Manage inventory of lighting equipment and materials, ensuring timely procurement of supplies
• Prepare reports on project status, maintenance activities, and budget utilization
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in street lighting and implement improvements as appropriate

• Proven experience with street lighting systems and road operations and maintenance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations in Qatar is a plus
