Responsibilities: Correspond and manage a diverse client base, including public, military, and private sector clients across Michigan and the Midwest. Lead projects from initiation to closure, encompassing Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Studies (RIFS), contaminant exposure mitigation, and active site remediation. Provide guidance to staff for ensuring the quality, safety, schedule, and budget of assigned projects. Review and ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of projects in line with governmental and industry standards. Collaborate with Department and Division Managers for quarterly projections, invoicing, and closeout activities. Direct the activities of personnel reporting on assigned projects. Maintain environmental design, reporting, and production standards and procedures. Actively participate in civic and professional activities, societies, and organizations. Job Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, relevant Engineering, or Environmental Degree. Five years of related field experience and project management experience. OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training. Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills. Experience in soil vapor, soil, surface water, and groundwater investigations. Proficiency in developing Conceptual Site Models, Feasibility Studies, and Pilot Studies. Expertise in remedial design, design documents, system construction and oversight, and operations and maintenance. Ability to perform field work, complying with safety codes and requirements. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Michigan Public Act 451, Part 201 and Part 213. Experience with Brownfield Redevelopment grants, building demolitions, site due care, and Michigan Public Act 381 workplans. Knowledge of Real Estate Due Diligence and Michigan Baseline Environmental Assessments. Expertise in Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS). OSHA Construction Safety training. Familiarity with State of Michigan environmental regulations. Experience working in the Midwest and the State of Michigan. Experience collaborating with local governmental agencies.
