Job Duties and Responsibilities The People Analytics mission is to empower data-informed decisions across the organization, transform HR technology tools, and create a world class employee experience. This position has an immense opportunity to grow your skills and learn new technologies. This position will be part of the People Analytics team driving key strategic analysis for the Echostar HR team. As we scale and optimize our People Analytics team, we need a People Analytics Analyst who can work with the HR Business Partners, business leaders, and HR technology teams to deliver insights and recommendations on the opportunities we have. The successful teammate will bridge the gap between complex people data and business strategy by developing the processes, procedures, and tools that drive actionable insights. By transforming raw data into visual stories and information, you will enable our leadership to make high-stakes decisions that drive people engagement and business growth. Key Responsibilities: Partner with People functions to support ongoing operational analytics efforts Partner with People functions on definitions and measures of success for operations, programs, and initiatives Partner with People functions to understand the business insights leaders need to make evidenced-based decisions Leverage SQL, Python, and Tableau to deliver a product suite of automated dashboards and analyses that provide visibility into the ‘health’ of our internal workforce Develop solutions to ensure information quality and analyze business trends Consult and advise People functions to create impactful analytical solutions Spearhead innovative analyses to drive business decisions Develop analytics (descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive) to identify workforce trends and forecasts Leverage AI-driven automation tools to streamline the cleaning and manipulation of large datasets, significantly increasing the scale and speed of our data mart operations Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in Natural Sciences; degrees in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or HR preferred Strong HR domain knowledge and at least 5 years analytical experience; plus 2 years of presenting to executive leadership Skills and Qualifications: HR or Data Science related certifications and experience in management consulting for high growth tech companies is a plus Expert analytical skills: SQL coding is a must; willingness to learn Tableau and/or Alteryx is a must; and programming tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python, etc.) is a plus Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects Team-oriented, professional, and demonstrates integrity at all times Visa sponsorship not available for this role Salary Ranges Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits . Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
