Band 3: £25,760 - £27,476 pro rata per annum (Actual salary £20,608 - £21,980 per annum)
Contract: Temporary for 9 months (Maternity cover)
Hours per week: Part-time 30
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Sleep Technical Officer to join our Sleep Team.
We are a lively multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nurses, physiologists, technicians and clerical staff. You must be able to work independently (to protocols), be flexible and adaptable in your attitude to work and enjoy being part of a very busy service.
Main duties will include:
- The post holder will assist the sleep Team, on a day-to-day basis at our Rodney Road Sleep centre, to provide a range of duties including the delivery of the sleep physiology investigation clinic.
- Provide an equipment replacement service for patients both face to face and via telephone requests. Deal with basic machine issues. Providing patients with full advice.
- Provide a point of contact for these patients as well as their carers and other health care professionals to obtain advice, education and support.
- Carry out admin duties on behalf of the sleep service.

Essential
- General education to GCSE Level Standard.
- Previous interpersonal and customer care experience.

- Experience in healthcare setting.
