Demand Planner – South Asia

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Reporting to: Director Supply Chain - South Asia

About the Role

As a Demand Planner, you will play a key role in shaping our commercial success by delivering accurate and insightful demand forecasts. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to critical planning processes such as Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

This is a high-impact role requiring strong analytical capability, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market insights, and trend analysis
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to drive alignment and optimize planning
  • Analyze market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity and communicate insights and forecasts effectively to key stakeholders across the business to inform decision-making
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies to improve forecast accuracy
  • Build and maintain reporting and analytics to track forecasting performance
  • Implement robust demand planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or other related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning plus overall experience of 6+ years including Supply Chain/ Sales/ Finance in MNC FMCG
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills, with high attention to detail and a proactive, resilient mindset
  • Experience with demand planning software and tools- including SAP, Power BI, etc
  • Certification in demand planning or related field. Preferred (e.g., Certified Demand Planner (CDP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data visualization tools: (e.g. Power BI)
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling and machine learning techniques: (e.g., regression, time series analysis)
  • Experience in Supply Planning and or logistics operations would be an added
