Job description
The Director of Compliance must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and all management personnel throughout the Company. It is necessary to provide caring, professional service as a Director. The Director must always set and display a high standard of professionalism. The Director must promote compliance and knowledge of practices, policies, and procedures while treating employees with courtesy. Promoting pride and teamwork are key attributes that the Director must portray. The Director must demonstrate a positive disposition, professional attitude, professional appearance and displays a high standard of integrity. The Director develops policy and procedures for the entire system in collaboration with HR by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Tracking of regulation compliance components; drug testing, workers
Compensation and employee benefits
- Reviews and interprets federal regulations to ensure that program conforms.
- Reviews and interrupts new laws and programs.
- Plans and develops joint programs with other members of corporate staff.
- Provide technical and advisory assistance to employees regarding programs.
- Administers all benefits to employee group

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Four year degree; four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, reports, and documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or employees.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
