Responsibilities
- Full charge Bookkeeper, Director of Accounting, eventually leading to a CFO/Controller position
- Reports directly to President of this small successful boutique Distributor
- Maintain company financials and analysis of profit centers, budgeting, and cash flow reports
- Bank and credit card reconciliations, month and quarter end reporting
- Monthy and quarterly royalty reporting to producers, expense charge backs, summary of licenses and payment terms
- Coding and entry of all general ledger entries and cash receipts
- A/R including invoicing, aging reports, collections and settlements
- A/P including research and resolve accounts payable issues with vendors
- Manage payroll, payroll tax, and employee benefits
- EDD and US Treasury Reporting
- HR, office management
- Prepare year end for Tax CPA
Job Requirements
Must be an expert in QuickBooks Pro and Microsoft Excel.
Must have 5 years experience in the entertainment industry and have first hand knowledge of Rights Management, Deal Terms, Delivery Items, and Profit Participation Reporting.
Must have a degree in Accounting and Finance.
